But then Jackson makes a comment at Comic-Con last week about movie fans being "fed up with the lack of original ideas": http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/herocomplex/2009/07/peter-jackson-movie-fans-are-fed-up-with-the-lack-of-original-ideas.html
That's true, Peter, but after just releasing a retread of an older film, should YOU be the one pointing that out?
Haha, you are pretty stupid
ReplyDeleteDid you even stop to consider WHY Peter Jackson thinks fans are fed up with lack of original ideas? It's because it makes everything seem familiar and dull. But how many people have seen Alive in Joburg? Very few. So for fans, it is pretty much an original idea because it's a movie they've never seen before involving a universe they've never entered, characters they don't know.
It's not a remake, sequel or prequel and it's not a comic book or cartoon adaptation. It's a brand new fresh idea that just happens to have a blueprint in the form of a short film. Jackson is not being hypocritical. You are just being a moron.
